The anticipation surrounding the term “showdown” proved true at the inaugural Southern Illinois Truck Showdown, hosted at Rent One Park over the Labor Day weekend last year. The event lived up to its promise of something big, set against the backdrop of an ideal venue for such gatherings.
Kicking off the weekend was a vibrant shop party organized by the esteemed Level 7 Motorsports. Their premises were abuzz with an array of trucks filling the property. Enthusiastic guests toured the shop, engaged in conversations, and enjoyed beverages against the backdrop of the beautiful September weather.
Several hundred show vehicles converged on the venue, proudly displaying their impressive array of goods. The resounding approval from attendees, coupled with their enthusiastic pledges to return for the 2023 event, echoed the success of the gathering. The Southern Illinois Truck Showdown proved to be a well-executed and memorable affair. We can’t wait to be there for the 2024 event!
