Roadster Shop offers two ride heights tailored to individuals who want it slammed (SPEC Slammed), or just slightly lowered without making any body modifications (SPEC Standard Height).
SPEC Chassis starting at $11,995 base price include; RS exclusive precision CNC’d laser cut rails, Front IFS with Wilwood Pro 2” Drop Spindles, power rack and pinion. Available with either RS SV Fox Coilovers OR Air Bag suspension, Ford 9” housing & 31-spline axles with the option of either; Parallel 4-bar (coilover suspension) or Watt’s link (Air Bag suspension only). Roadster Shop’s new LowPro platform for the 88-98 Chevy OBS Trucks is the industry’s first slammed chassis that does not require raising your bed floor. You can now build your OBS truck, which, when aired out, will sit virtually on the ground and retain the stock bed floor height for full use of the bed for hauling, storage or even your favorite cooler.
This is all possible because of the low-profile trailing arm IRS system, utilizing an OEM GM differential with a completely new and innovative multi-link system supporting a trailing arm with airbag & cantilever shock set up.
The $35,995 base price of the LowPro chassis includes the newly re-engineered frame with integrated mounting points for air tanks, air management system, ride height sensors and airline routing, front LowPro IFS suspension with C7 Spindles, power rack and pinion, rear LowPro IRS HD trailing arm with C7 sealed bearing and brake mounts, GM limited slip center differential, 300M drive axles with 930 CV’s and billet multi-link arms. Additional add-on options available to order with the chassis include 14” or 15” Baer brake kits, stainless brake line package and complete air management system.

ACME Chassis Factory is proud of their line of GM C-10 chassis which are currently available for all year C10 pick-up, Blazer, and Suburban in your choice of setup for air bags or coilovers. All of their chassis are completely 3D modeled on a state-of-the-art computer modeling program. From there, front and rear rails are constructed from laser cut and cnc formed 3/16 cold rolled steel. The lower control arms are designed and built with laser cut plate with internal gussets, for maximum strength. The tubular upper arms are fully adjustable for camber and caster alignment. The rear suspension features a triangulated 3-link with fully boxed lower links and a tubular upper link or a parallel 4-link with a Watt’s link. All machined parts are CNC-machined to exacting standards and tolerances. The chassis and components are all assembled and fully welded in precision jigs and fixtures to ensure a perfect fit.
When building your dream C-10, it is crucial that you start with a good foundation. Unfortunately, these trucks we love were designed and built close to 60 years ago. GSI’s Air Ride Chassis is engineered with optimized suspension geometry to minimize camber change throughout the suspension travel & eliminate bump steer. Eccentric lower control arm alignment cams allow for quick & easy suspension alignment. GSI’s Tie rod adapter kit works with the suspension to eliminate bump steer and make alignment at the spindle easy. The rear of the chassis is designed with all suspension components inboard to accommodate up to a 15” wide wheel.
The GSI 1967-1972 Air Ride chassis has been designed and developed using the latest technology available in manufacturing. If you want your Squarebody to sit lower, handle better, ride smoother, and hug corners, the flimsy factory chassis just isn’t going to do it. There’s no secret that these trucks can only be lowered a little bit before the lower control arms are scraping the ground, the ride is harsh, and the alignment specs are out of whack. The cure is a completely new TCI chassis with exceptional strength and redesigned geometry for today’s performance standards.
TCI offers their Squarebody chassis in three different configurations; Classic, Pro-Touring, and Grounded. No matter which one you choose though, there are some similarities. Their Squarebody C10 chassis starts with precision laser cut fully-boxed frame rails that are fully jig welded in their Ontario, California manufacturing facility. There’s a 12 piece center section that ties both frame rails together for a rigid platform to hold the suspension.
These frame rails get built at different heights depending on if you’re going for that Classic look with minimal drop, Pro-Touring with 4” ride height, or Grounded which slams the truck on the ground. The Pro-Touring chassis and the Grounded will have a step notch in the rear to get the truck low and have room for the suspension to do its job. The Classic series and Grounded series will have a four-link rear, while the Pro-Touring chassis has a Torque-Arm set up in the rear.
In the front, they utilize their high-performance, track-winning Pro Touring IFS system. This package is designed to be compact and strong, providing you the precision steering and the confidence you deserve to push your truck further than ever without compromising comfort. Utilizing tubular control arms, the Pro Touring IFS features high-performance 1,000,001 warranty Ridetech fully-adjustable coil overs, rack and pinion steering, and Custom Modular spindles to choose a set of brakes to match the performance of the chassis.
