“I’m going back to Cali, stylin’, profilin’…” Back in 1988, LL Cool J might have had his own reasons for not going back to Cali, but his lyrics ain’t changing my mind in 2023. In fact, we already have plans to go back to Cali in 2024 because we didn’t get enough this year!
C10 Intervention is a yearly gathering in Northern California’s community of Woodland. It’s a city known for its tomatoes and agricultural products, a small town feel, and close proximity to San Francisco and the Pacific coast. It’s also a city that opens its arms and welcomes thousands of C10 truck enthusiasts to the wonderful downtown area on Labor Day Weekend.
The Saturday night C10 Intervention cruise is something that should be on your bucket list if you’ve never experienced it. It’s the kickoff to the entire event and sets the stage magnificently for Sunday’s show. As evening descends on the town, nearly 1,000 GM trucks are escorted down Main Street by the local police and continue to light up the night until the wee hours. The locals and spectators love it as much as the truck owners and the vibe is truly awesome. Like goosebumps awesome.
Sunday’s show packed the downtown strip from one end to the other with the West Coast’s finest trucks and there is literally something for everyone.
Our hats are off to the C10 Intervention crew and support staff. We’ll definitely be back next year.
