Each fall, a calm sets in with the colder weather on the horizon and SEMA just around the corner, and before you know it, the C10 Fall Revival sneaks in to make a nice way to bookend the East Coast show season. This event is one of our favorite events to do throughout the year because of the “family reunion” feel and laid back setting, albeit bittersweet, as many of us know that it’s the last time we will see our friends until spring. It’s a great time to catch up and chat about plans for the next year.
The organizers behind this event (Lu Perez/Kasey Harris/Benny Carelock) have big hearts, not only for trucks, but for people less fortunate. Each year, they pick a different charity to receive a portion of their proceeds, and for 2021 they were able to present a check to the Ronald McDonald House for over $10,000! This year, they opened the show up to a Friday and Saturday event. The “Dream Team” and their staff do an amazing job of keeping that close-knit, hometown feel. The event has become such a hit, that this year they packed the grassy hills of Oakboro so full that they were busting at the seams to accommodate all of the trucks and spectators that showed up.
We love these people and what they do, and we are proud to be a small part of it all. We can’t wait for next year, but until then, we will hibernate here and dream of warmer days. Great show guys!
