The 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas delivered a strong showing for American performance, with Chevrolet and GMC trucks taking center stage. Builders and manufacturers unveiled an impressive lineup of vintage and modern GM truck builds, reinforcing their place in the custom and performance world.
Classic GM pickups were a major attraction, with several standout builds combining period-correct styling with modern upgrades. Many featured LS and LT engine swaps, offering reliable horsepower paired with upgraded suspension and braking systems.Â
On the performance parts front, ProCharger introduced a new GM LT Engine Air to Water Intercooler Integrated Intake Manifold, designed to improve forced induction efficiency for LT-powered trucks. Deatschwerks also revealed new performance fuel pump modules built to meet the demands of high-output GM engines, giving builders the confidence to push their vintage truck builds to the next level.
The 2024 SEMA Show underscored the strength of GM’s truck platforms in the performance aftermarket. Whether it was a meticulously restored C10 or a heavily modified late-model Silverado, Chevrolet and GMC trucks proved they remain a cornerstone of American truck culture. For builders focused on blending classic design with modern performance, the SEMA Show once again delivered plenty of inspiration.
