In the last chapter, we took a major step forward by tearing down my ’95 Chevy Silverado: removing the factory suspension, brakes, exhaust, and fuel tank to make room for the top-tier components from Phat Phabz. Now, it was time to put the plan into motion, transforming steel and CAD dreams into functional reality.
Each week, the three-hour drive down to Phat Phabz in Choctaw, Oklahoma offers a new appreciation for the controlled chaos that is their shop. There’s an art to how they move raw steel from CNC laser cutter to welding station, all while maintaining flawless precision. It’s a place where digital designs meet molten metal, and the results are nothing short of incredible.
