The 2025 C10 Nationals rolled into Las Vegas this past March and brought the noise, the trucks, and just enough sunburn to remind everyone they weren’t in a climate-controlled garage anymore. Held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the show pulled in a strong crowd of GM truck fans from all over the western U.S., each with their own version of how a C10 should look, sound, or lay frame.
This year’s layout gave everyone something to chew on. There were full show fields for classic survivors, patina’d shop trucks, pro-touring builds, and full-tilt customs. You couldn’t throw a lug nut without hitting an LS swap or someone polishing their valve covers like the judges were already watching. The burnout contest ran on schedule and left a cloud over the desert that might still be drifting east. If your truck didn’t leave with some rubber on it, you weren’t standing in the right place.
The swap meet was solid, with vendors offering everything from OEM take-offs to billet bits that probably cost more than your first truck. More than a few folks were seen walking around holding tailgates or fenders like they’d won the lottery. Some of them probably had.
Autocross competition kept the speed crowd happy, and a few long bed trucks proved they could hang in the corners just fine. The awards ceremony capped things off with the usual mix of well-earned trophies and some minor disagreements about who really had the cleanest engine bay.
In short, it was exactly what you’d want from a weekend of trucks, tire smoke, and good people. If you didn’t make it out this year, you missed a good one. Pack sunscreen and some cash for parts. Vegas will be ready next year, whether you are or not.
