Truck events around the country have exploded over the last five years, and what a truck show is has evolved along with it. The C10 Nationals has been around since 2018 and has been at the forefront of the new “experience” at a truck event. With three shows a year (we hear maybe four next year), their Salt Lake City show is one of the most unique and fun events we attend.
Starting the weekend off with a bang, the pre-party begins at Kindig-It Design. This year they had 107 trucks there, and it can only hold 100. Dave, Kevin, Baylee, and the rest of the staff were welcoming and it was like hanging out with some of your best friends. I don’t know if we have ever had so much fun at any pre-party at any event!
The place was packed to the brim with around 725 trucks, lots of vendors, and an abundance of enthusiasm. Salt Lake City is kind of out there, so when events come to town, it’s a big deal. The C10 Nationals has a strong pull and was able to bring trucks from 23 states, including Connecticut, and over two dozen trucks from Canada. Both days they had their usual activities like Autocross, Dyno, Swap Meet, Vendor Midway, Burnout Contest, Awards, and more.
Friday night, the C10 Club Utah had a 25th Anniversary Party for the C10 Club on the steps of the state capitol with all of the dignitaries in attendance. Saturday they gave away over 75 awards and $7,500 in cash! Utah is beautiful, and this adds to the setting of this unique event. C10 Nationals always does it first class, and that’s why the trucks keep coming back.
