Woodland, California, has always had a way of quietly pulling you in. Nestled in the heart of Yolo County, just north of Sacramento, this town has deep roots in agriculture—once a hub for grain and livestock in the 1800s. Its historic downtown feels like a snapshot of that past, with Victorian buildings still holding their own among the more modern spots. You’ll find local cafes, cool boutiques, and a few hidden gems in the old storefronts, offering a laid-back vibe that’s hard to find these days. The community’s tight-knit, evident in events like the C10 Intervention that draw both locals and visitors. But Woodland isn’t just about history—it’s a gateway to wine country and the outdoors, perfect for those who want a mix of exploration and relaxation. Whether you’re walking the streets or checking out the nearby vineyards, it’s a place that balances nostalgia and modern life effortlessly.
2024’s C10 Intervention in Woodland, California, proved to be yet another standout gathering for those who appreciate fine craftsmanship, innovation, and a sense of community. Now in its sixth year, the event had established itself as a cornerstone for DIY truck enthusiasts, drawing in everything from classic GM trucks to fully customized builds that commanded attention from every angle.
Saturday night kicked off with the iconic cruise night. At 7:00 PM, downtown Woodland was shut down for a “participants only” cruise that featured 650 trucks. The sight of these vehicles, in all their shapes and styles, rolling down Main Street was an unforgettable spectacle. Spectators lined the sidewalks, taking in the rare opportunity to witness such a massive and well-executed display of truck culture.
Sunday brought the public into the fold from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event was open and free, offering a chance to explore a remarkable range of GM trucks, Blazers, Jimmy’s, and Suburbans—each one a testament to the passion of their owners. From lifted beasts to lowered stunners, to untouched originals, the event’s lineup showed off the skill and creativity of the C10 community. This year, registration sold out in just three hours, underscoring the ever-growing quality and demand.
For those seeking a more refined experience, the VIP lounge was a welcome escape. With two full days of air-conditioned comfort, BBQ, drinks, and tastings of whiskey and tequila from Father Paddy’s Pub, it offered a chance to relax and indulge while still staying close to the action. A portion of the proceeds benefited local Woodland charities, giving attendees another reason to feel good about their experience.
Put together by the C10 Club, Visit Woodland, and the Woodland Hoteliers Group, the 2024 C10 Intervention lived up to its reputation, leaving everyone with memories of a weekend filled with trucks, music, and plenty of camaraderie. Whether showcasing a prized ride or simply enjoying the scene, it was an event that left a lasting impression.
