TUBULAR CONTROL ARMS FOR ‘88-98 GM TRUCKS
One of the biggest trends we’re seeing is the resurgence of the 1988-98 Chevy OBS trucks. While there are a handful of suspension and brake parts already on the market, most were designed when these trucks were new. A lot has changed in the last 20 to 30 years, and CPP thinks there is a plenty of room for improvement. That’s why they are developing entirely new products for the OBS trucks with the goal of integrating modern technology and design to accommodates today’s contemporary build styles.
One of the first products they designed and built are tubular control arms. To give more wheel to fender clearance, their tubular arms are 1.5” narrower per side than factory, opening up many more wheel options. Made from DOM tubing, these arms are seriously tough while integrating features like steering stops, bump stops, and sway bar mounts. They will also work with a stock coil and shock setup or dual-adjustable coilovers with packages available in multiple ride height options for either. Kits even come with sway bar end links featuring rod ends on one side and bushings on the other to connect the factory sway bar for lowered applications.
Classic Performance Products, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of high quality steering, brake and suspension components for classic Chevy trucks. All CPP products come with a limited lifetime warranty.

SPRINT WHEELS WITH SPINNER
Halibrand Sprint Wheels with lug cover and spinner for the Square-Body C10 are a nostalgic styled wheel based on the original classic “Sprint” wheels, but updated to fit modern tire sizes and modern tapered seat lug nuts. They were engineered specifically for the C10 squarebody fleet side trucks with proven fitment, tire clearance, and backspacing optimized to fill up the wheel openings. These wheels eliminate the fitment guesswork and tire rubbing that can be common with generic-sized after-market wheels.
The flow-formed wheel manufacturing process applies pressure and heat to the wheel casting while it is spinning to stretch and compress the aluminum. The finished wheel is lighter, stronger, and features a higher shock resistance and load capacity compared to a standard cast aluminum wheel.
Wheels are available with a painted or polished finish. Choose from anthracite, light gold, or polished finish. The 3-step paint process includes a powder-coated primer, paint, and clear-coat for durability and easy maintenance. The polished wheels are available without clear-coat finish (uncoated wheels can be polished to a show car quality finish but require frequent maintenance to retain the appearance). Each wheel comes with a polished forged aluminum spinner and color matched lug cover.
Choose from the following sizes and backspacing (bs) options: 19x8.5 (bs 4.5, 4.75, 5.25-inch), 19x10 (bs 5.5-inch), 20x8.5 (bs 4.5, 4.75, 5.25-inch), and 20x10 (bs 4.0, 5.5-inch).
