When it comes to throwing a banger, who knows more about it than the C10 Talker himself, Ronnie Wetch? You have to hand it to him – he’s had a hand in, seen, or touched practically everything that’s taken place in the evolution of the C10 scene over the past decade. That’s saying a lot, and if you know Ronnie, you know he usually has a lot to say! Along with those experiences, comes an intimate knowledge of what works and what doesn’t when it comes to events and such.
When he was putting together 2022’s inaugural Reunion Truck Show, he had a plan to create event that was different, yet very familiar. When the opportunity arose to hold the event in a posh parking garage in beautiful downtown Chandler, Arizona, Ronnie jumped at the chance. Not only would it provide a venue that was impervious to Mother Nature’s mood swings, but also laid the backdrop for the world’s TALLEST truck show. And for the high rollers picked to park on the upper level, the unmistakable view of the Chandler skyline was worth the price of admission.
From the size of the sold-out crowd at this year’s event, we can only believe that the Reunion Truck Show has firmly planted its feet as one of the C10 community’s must-attend events. We’re already lining up our plans to escape the chilly Ohio weather and spend next March in sunny Arizona. We can’t wait to see all of the cool trucks and even cooler people there!
